he Sino-German Symposium on Biomimetics: From Animal Sensory Systems to Locomotion, co-organized by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), Technical University of Munich (TUM), Chengdu Institute of Biology (CIB), Chinese Academy of Sciences and State Key Laboratory of National CBRN Hazard Protection, was held in Chengdu from October 11th-14th, 2014 with more than 80 attendees. This meeting was funded by the Sino-German Science Center for Research Promotion (SGC).

From November 24th to 26th, 2014, the Sino-German workshop on “Pathomechanisms of High Altitude Pulmonary Hypertension and Genetic Basis of Adaption to High Altitude Hypoxia” was held at the lecture hall of the Excellence Cluster Cardio-Pulmonary Systems (ECCPS), University of Giessen, Germany.
The Sino-German Workshop on "Computation and Reasoning with Constraints", funded by the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion (SGC) took place at the Sino-German Center in Beijing during November 23–29, 2014. The workshop was co-organized by Zhikun She from the School of Mathematics and Systems Science at Beihang University and Thomas Sturm from the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken.
Vom 28. Oktober bis 2. Das Symposium wurde durch die finanzieller Unterstützung des Chinesisch-Deutschen Zentrums für Wissenschaftsförderung (CDZ) ermöglicht und vom Institut für Marktorientierte Unternehmensführung (IMM) der Ludwig-Maximilans-Universität, München und der School of Business Administration der Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) ausgerichtet.
The Sino-German Symposium on “Novel NMR-based Methods for Organic Structure Determination” funded by Sino-German Center for Research Promotion (SGC) was held successfully on Nov. 19-21, 2014 in Wenzhou Jiangxin Riverview hotel. This symposium was organized by Prof. Christian Griesinger from Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysical Germany in Göttingen and Prof. Xinxiang Lei from Wenzhou University.
From October 22 -25, 2014, the ‘Sino-German Workshop on Nano-Photonics and Nano-Optoelectronics’, co-organized by Hunan University (HNU) and University of Tübingen (UT) of Germany, was held in Changsha. This workshop was funded by Sino-German Center for Research Promotion (SGC). There were 41 senior scientists from Germany, China, and United States attended this workshop.
